Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Watch 9, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 are set to be unveiled on Wednesday, but a leak has revealed even higher prices than expected. This is due to the high value-added tax (VAT) in Portugal, which is 4 percentage points higher than in Germany. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is also listed, with prices ranging from €2,269 to €2,869, depending on the storage capacity. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to feature a new form factor with a 5.5-inch secondary display and a 7.6-inch main display, but it will lack a telephoto camera compared to the top-of-the-line model. The Galaxy Watch 9 is priced at €409.90 for the 40-millimeter version without a modem, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is listed exclusively as a 47-millimeter model with an LTE modem for €749.90. These prices are likely to be a concern for consumers, especially with the high VAT in Portugal. The leak also suggests that price increases in other regions may be even higher than expected, which could impact sales and consumer interest.
